Position Description The Fiscal Monitor (FM) is responsible for assisting the Financial Manager with all DERS sub-recipient fiscal monitors, ensuring fiscal compliance per grant specific requirements, uniform guidance and federal regulations. The FM is also responsible for providing extensive technical assistance to sub-recipients, internal staff and other stakeholders. The FM will support multiple federal grant awards in ensuring fiscal compliance and other grant related activities. The FM will review modifications to regulations and all federal guidance issued, as it pertains to specific grants. This position will assist with ensuring that established standards of internal controls are met and drive initiatives for continuous improvements with cost savings and efficiency. The FM will assist with the annual allocation of funds to sub-recipients and assist during Federal and State audits.
